The Boating Information web application is accessible and runs in any web browser, whether on your phone, tablet, or desktop computer. Although, the application's layout has been optimized for the smaller touch-screen of a mobile device.

Launch Boating Info

Add an icon to your Apple device's home screen

By adding an icon to your iPhone's or iPad's home screen, you will have quick access to the application. It will also allow the application to run in full screen mode. To add an icon to the home screen follow these steps:

1. Open the Safari web browser on your device.
2. Enter "m.mickletech.net/boating.php" into the address bar and press the "Go" button.
3. Once the Boating Info page has loaded, tap the box-arrow icon (or plus icon on older devices). This icon can be found in the center of the bottom button panel on the iPhone and next to the address bar at the top of the screen on the iPad.
4. Tap the "Add to Home Screen" button.
5. Tap the "Add" button at the top of the screen.
6. The Boating Info icon will now appear on your Home Screen.

Add an icon to your Android device's home screen

By adding an icon to your Android's home screen, you will have quick access to the application. To add an icon to the home screen follow these steps:

Create a bookmark

1. Open the web browser on your Android device.
2. Enter "m.mickletech.net/boating.php" into the address bar and press the Arrow button.
3. Tap the menu button.
4. Tap the "Add to" button.
5. Tap the "Bookmark" button.
6. Tap the "Done" button.

Create a home screen icon (option one)

1. Open the web browser on your Android device.
2. Tap the menu button.
3. Tap the "Bookmarks" button.
4. Touch and hold the "Boating Info" bookmark.
5. Tap the "Add shortcut to home" button.
6. The Boating Info icon will now appear on your Home Screen.

Create a home screen icon (option two)

1. Go to your device's home screen.
2. Touch and hold the screen on an empty space.
3. Tap the "Shortcut" button (or similar item).
4. Tap the "Bookmark" button.
5. Tap the "Boating Info" bookmark.
6. The Boating Info icon will now appear on your Home Screen.
